6th Pan-African PCAF Psychotrauma Conference, 15th -18th July 2013. Kampala, Uganda.

We take this opportunity to invite you to attend the 6th Annual Pan-African PCAF Psychotrauma Conference due to take place from the 15th -18th July 2013 at the Silver Springs Hotel in Kampala, Uganda. This year’s conference will be held in collaboration with the World Association of Cultural Psychiatry (WACP) and hence the theme, ‘Trauma, culture and healing: Theory and practice in Africa’.

We shall have an exciting scientific menu consisting of international, regional and local speakers including the President of the WACP, Professor Kam Bhui. We shall have both oral and poster presentations as well as training workshops.

This letter is to invite you to register and to submit abstracts for oral, poster or symposia presentations, as well as proposals for training workshops. A limited number of full and partial scholarships for local, regional and international delegates are available. Priority will be given to those submitting abstracts.

We shall have a cocktail at the Silver Springs Pool side, all conference delegates will be invited.
